- Clean the surface

- Snap off the pink tip to release the liquid inside.
- Wait for yellow
- Hold upright for up to 10 seconds until the tip turns yellow.
- Test the surface
- Rub the swab on the item.
- Read the result
- Yellow = No lead detected
- Red = Lead present
- Confirm with lead sample
- Use the included lead sample to verify your set of lead tests are working before testing your items.
